Adam and Marnie got married on a very special and meaningful day for both of them. Marnie and the girls were getting ready at the Rendezvous Grand Hotel Adelaide. This hotel is located on Waymouth St, Adelaide. It's location is very centralised and easy to get to. Surprisingly, I did not have any problems with looking for a park! Certainly a good option for those who wants a nice, no fuss place for getting ready.

These thongs are just perfect.. The things I love about them are the fact that they are all labelled, so that I won't get the people mixed up.. LOL(just joking). Seriously, they have to be more comfortable than those high heels:) Adelaide wedding venue

Wedding Ceremony - Utopia Waterfall Gully

They have chosen Utopia as their wedding venue. This Adelaide wedding venue is located at Waterfall Gully Road. It is one of the best Adelaide wedding venue. It also provides both ceremony and reception services.

I just love the scenery here and of course the waterfall for bridal portraits.

One of my photography style during the reception is to capture the guests while they are having a great time.

Games such as this one certainly had brought joy and laughter to the fun crowd.

For those who have a sweet tooth...The mouthwatering desserts at this amazing wedding venue.

Just have to love the lights... They create a romantic ambience, just perfect for a wedding venue.

Congratulations to Boxi and Yue on their wedding. I am very honoured to be one of the few preferred wedding suppliers of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. When Boxi and Yue chose me as their wedding photographer, I was really excited to photograph their special day. Their wedding was in May, the trees and plants during this period were just mesmerising, specially the brown red leaves. 婚纱摄影

One of my favourite photography sites is the Adelaide city, as it provides the beautiful gardens as well as amazing architectural buildings in the University of Adelaide campus.

Not every man kneel during their wedding proposal. During the ceremony, Boxi again "proposed" to Yue by kneeling on the ground. I am so touched by it.

As promised, here's a couple of photographs from the Wedding portrait held last Saturday. I intentionally took photos with and without flash to show ;

1. How harsh the sun is.

2. How good is it to have the flash on.

The heat

I have to admit that I often get overheated after a day of summer wedding. In this wedding, I went home after the first hour of reception. When I reached home at about 9pm, had my dinner, I have to had 2 panadols and went straight to bed. I had tried my best to stay out of the sun but the heat must have got into me. I already had more than 3 litres of water during the whole wedding and my body still can't cope well with the heat (annoying!).

I started using the flash in the portraits in the groom's place. Used it for the bride's and the bridal portrait session too. I am very impressed with the lightweight of the Quadra flash unit. I bought along with me the manfrotto tripod to hold the flash head. There is this once that the flash unit did not fire when it was behind a big tree, out of the sight from the skyport. The bridal party was happily smiling for me and I realised that the Quadra was not firing! Annoying x 2.

At the end of the wedding, the battery is still at 75% full.
